Privacy policy
This policy explains what personal information Spiritual Conscious collects when you visit spiritualconscious.com or contact us, why we collect it, and the choices you have. Spiritual Conscious is run by the Avadooth Dham Siddha Peetam Trust, #123, 3rd Cross, JP Nagar 3rd Phase, Bengaluru 560078, India ("we", "us"). We follow India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
What we collect
- Messages you send us. When you tap a WhatsApp button, call or email us, we receive your name, phone number or email address and whatever you choose to write. The website itself has no sign-up forms.
- Programme registrations. If you join a programme, we keep your name, contact details, the programmes you have attended and payment records.
- Website usage. Our hosting provider records basic technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, to keep the site secure and working. If we use analytics or advertising tools (such as Google Analytics or the Meta Pixel), they collect similar data through cookies; see "Cookies" below.
How we use it
- To answer your questions and share programme dates, fees and details.
- To register you for programmes, satsangs and initiations, and to keep in touch with you as a seeker.
- To understand how visitors use the site and to show our announcements to people likely to be interested, including on Facebook and Instagram.
- To meet legal and accounting obligations of the Trust.
We never sell your personal information.
Cookies
The site may use cookies from Google and Meta to measure visits and the results of our advertising. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can manage ad preferences in your Facebook ad preferences and Google ad settings. The site works fully without them.
Who we share it with
Only with services that help us run the Trust's work, and only for that purpose: our website host (Netlify), WhatsApp (Meta) for messaging, Google and Meta for analytics and advertising, and our payment and accounting providers. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry messages for as long as the conversation is useful, and programme and payment records for as long as Indian law requires. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, unless we must keep it by law.
Your rights
You may ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, withdraw consent for us to contact you, or raise a concern. Write to us and we will reply within 30 days.
Children
Some programmes, such as Saraswathi Deeksha, are open to children aged six and above. We collect a child's details only from a parent or guardian, with their consent, and use them only to run the programme.
