The True Meaning of Power

To Her, the Devi Shakti present in all creatures of the world in the form of power, salutations, salutations, every time salutations.

What is shakti? Power itself is the great power of the Devi, the Mother of the world.

The tradition of Shakti sadhana began long ago and has continued without a break to the present day.

So what does shakti mean? It is a system with many forms.

First came the power of the arm, strength of body: hunting, fighting, exercise, many kinds of dance.

Then the system changed. There was the power to farm, the power to catch and tame cattle and other animals, then the power that taught how to store grain. Power took many forms.

Over time, power became the power of money, the power to accumulate wealth. Today the power of money flows in many ways, and physical strength is still there, but the power of money and wealth has taken on great importance.

Whoever has the most wealth becomes the most powerful.

Then slowly we see that without a developed mind, without knowledge, discernment or intelligence, people waste their money and wealth even when they have it.

Then, through the strength of knowledge, the mind develops and a person becomes greatly powerful. When a change happens at the centre of knowledge, that person becomes a jnani, one who knows.

Today, all around us and in every direction, there are such transformed knowers, scholars and learned people who have seen, studied and understood everything.

They have good analysis, understanding and reflection, and they are powerful in every way. After this, wealth comes to them as well.

Yet when we look at our own country, knowledge, even when present, is not the final word. It is not the end.

Beyond knowledge there is the power of consciousness, the power of the soul, the inner power, the power within. All of these matter as the complete power.

When and how does this inner power awaken? There is the power of bodily strength, the craving for outer things, the craving for the power of wealth, the craving for the power of knowledge. At the end of such craving, it falls away.

When these many powers of craving finally fall away, our prestige, fame and the rest come to rest wherever we are.

Shut in power of being.

The power of presence is a power within us.

The power of being in the present is presence, essence, source. That is the root power, the fundamental power.

The Devi is present in many forms. She is the foundation of the root power: the presence of being.

This foundational root keeps no craving and leaves no residue. It is impossible even to imagine this blissful great power, because no one can imagine what the outer power is bringing about.

Some people imagine Shakti as the one who chases demons, fights them and destroys them.

But this great power gives victory with great skill. She brings victory in every way and in everything.

In every way and in everything she proclaims victory and reveals it. That is the presence of being within us. This is the root Adi Shakti, the original nature.

After this, as the power that is the fruit of knowledge, the power of wealth and the power of prosperity spread out, we receive power in its evolved forms: the power of the body, the power of prana, the power of knowledge, the power of mind and the power of bliss.

But the essential, foundational power of consciousness is the POWER OF BEING. Awake to it, accepting it with devotion, humility, love and respect, we must live in that great power.
